VENNEKEL® STEEPLECHASE
Discover the outstanding quality and safety of our Vennekel® steeplechase, perfect for international competition (IAAF-certified). Our steeplechases are characterised by an extremely stable construction that does not tip over even during intensive training or competitions.
High-quality materials and durability
Thanks to the aluminium substructure, the Vennekel® steeplechase is more durable than obstacles with a steel substructure. The steeplechase beam is made of extremely stiff glued wood, painted white and finished with classic black stripes.
Maximum safety
The safety of athletes is important to us. For this reason, the feet of our obstacles are not braced together to minimise the risk of injury in the event of a fall.
Diversity and flexibility
We offer the Vennekel® steeplechase in two widths:
- 5.00 m for the first obstacle after the start to avoid crowds.
- 3.96 m for the other free-standing obstacles.
The height adjustment of the obstacles is adapted to the competition requirements: 76.2 cm for women and 91.5 cm for men.
Vennekel® Water Jump Barrier
Our water jump barrier is also IAAF-certified and offers the same outstanding features as our regular obstacles. With a width of 3.66 metres and a extremely stiff glued wood beam, it is perfect for competition use.
Vennekel® Training Steeplechase Barrier
We offer a specially developed training obstacle for training indoors or for quick set-up outdoors, which requires fewer running tracks (1.98 m wide). It has the same robust aluminium substructure and a wood beam for training close to competition.
